STÁŽ: Public Affairs & Digital Communications Internship v Bruseli

You will be part of the PA/COM team and report to the PA/COM Director. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing and reporting on policy and legislative developments. You will work on the development and implementation of advocacy and communications programmes for a number of divisions in various sectors including energy, circular economy, buildings, innovation and sustainability. In addition, you will organise and participate in a range of meetings, events and conferences.


  • Identify, monitor and provide thorough analysis of EU issues and their impact for the industry;
  • Identify and flag up new issues, threats and opportunities;
  • Advise on and develop public affairs strategies;
  • Contribute to the editorial process of internal newsletter, publications and content for social media;
  • Implement meeting programmes for the PA/COM team and members;
  • Drafts position papers as well as other public affairs and communications materials and tools;
  • Develop and deliver presentations to and for the team;
  • Contribute to the editorial process of internal newsletter, publications and content for social media;
  • Attend external meetings organised by European Institutions and other relevant stakeholders;
  • Provide support to the organisation of events.


  • University level education;
  • Good understanding of the functioning of the EU;
  • Excellent drafting skills in English, ability to tailor narratives to different audiences;
  • At least, 1 year of experience and knowledge of EU policy making procedures;
  • Creative;
  • Very good analytical skills;
  • Good organisational and project management skills;
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills;
  • An outgoing and dynamic personality;
