Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Planning and management of AmCham events (including Business Breakfasts, Business Cocktails, Conferences, etc.)
  • Choose venue, menu, prepare program and select entertainment
  • Communication with suppliers, clients and sponsors
  • Evaluation and summarization of events
  • Preparation and implementation of logistic plans and procedure manuals for events
  • Daily office administration
  • Obtaining sponsorship for events: searching for potential sponsors and partners
  • Preparation of promotional campaigns of major events
  • Cooperation with and reporting to event manager.

1 year experience is required.

Requirements for the employee

  • Candidates with education suit the position
  • Secondary with school-leaving examination
  • Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
  • University education (Bachelor’s degree)
  • University education (Master’s degree)

Language skills

  • English – Advanced (C1) and
  • Slovak – Advanced (C1)

Computer skills – user

  • Microsoft Outlook – advanced
  • Microsoft Excel – advanced
  • Microsoft Word – advanced

Personality requirements and skills

  • Excellent knowledge of English language
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills
  • Working experience in a similar position is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Well organized and able to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to act independently
  • Stress resistant
