IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a world-wide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.
IPPF will begin operationalizing an innovative programme in social entrepreneurship which is a pilot programme. This is an exciting experiment that will enable IPPF and its Member Associations (MAs) to explore how social enterprise approaches can be used as a means of financing health service delivery.
IPPF is looking for a Programme Adviser to manage the programme’s initial design including launching the programme with MAs around the world, and taking forward our ambitious agenda on social enterprise. The role will ensure successful operational management, implementation and effectiveness of SEAP and its movement to an institutional programme.
You have proven experience of social entrepreneurship and of managing a multi-country programme. Experience with internal programme communications is essential, and it is preferred that you have current knowledge or experience with health services provision. You must have an understanding of the Civil Society Organisation sector and be up to date in the field of technical social enterprise. International Development experience is desirable. You have excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You have strong research and analytical skills including sound IT skills. Excellent project/programme management skills with experience of reporting to donor agencies are essential, as are excellent budget and time management skills.
Educated to Masters Degree level in business, economics, social science or a related field, you are fluent in English. Fluency in French and/or Spanish is desirable. You will also be willing to travel internationally and be culturally sensitive.
